Concert
This lyrical program with strong French influences features several passages that require great technical mastery. The sonata by composer Théodore Dubois will convey a sense of grandeur and nobility through its rich melodies. Characterized by its fluidity, Debussy’s sonata will take you through an evocative and expressive sonic world. Moreover, each of Casals’ Five Pieces possesses distinct traits, ranging from melancholic gentleness to dynamic energy. This concert will be the perfect opportunity to admire the captivating communication between the cello and the piano!
The acclaimed musicians taking the stage are all precious partners of the Orford Music Academy.
