    • Amit Peled at the Orford Music Academy

      Internationally renowned cellist, conductor and pedagogue Amit Peled is acclaimed as one of the most exciting and virtuosic instrumentalists on the concert stage today. Having performed in many of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., Salle Gaveau in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, Seuol Arts Center in Korea and the Konzerthaus Berlin, Germany. Peled has released over a dozen recordings on the Naxos, Centaur, Delos, and CTM Classics labels.

      During your stay at Orford Music, you will create unforgettable memories while evolving into the artist you aspire to be. Orford Music’s master classes are unique opportunities to work on your goals with the mentors of your choice.

      The master classes include the following:

      • Master classes, individual lessons or technical courses lasting 2.5 hours per week
      • Opportunity to perform in student concerts
      • Access to a collaborative pianist
      • Networking activities with faculty members and the student community
      • Accommodation in double occupancy and three meals per day.
      • Practice studios equipped with pianos (available from 7AM to 12AM)
      • Housekeeping, laundry facilities, parking, and free Wi-Fi
      • Free tickets for concerts at Salle Gilles-Lefebvre (subject to availability)
      • Opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of Parc national du Mont-Orford, the majestic Lake Memphremagog, and the tourist activities of the city of Magog
      • Rehearsal studios equipped with pianos (available from 6AM to 11PM)
