    • Collaborative pianists workshop at the Orford Music Academy.

This class is intended for singers and pianists looking to perfect the art of recital and wishing to deepen their interpretation of the lyrical repertoire (English, French, oratorio, and opera). Particular focus will be on linguistics, rhetoric, and poetry to help singers find a greater connection to foreign language songs.

Pianists will focus on full scores and orchestral transcriptions, in addition to an approach to transposition and sight-reading.

Instruction includes master classes in duos as well as private lessons. Participants will have the opportunity to play or sing for the instructors every day, in addition to the possibility of performing in a concert at the end of each week of the workshop. The repertoire will be determined with each duo shortly after the confirmation of their stay.
