Refund Policy (COVID-19)

While the coronavirus pandemic is forcing many travelers to cancel their trips abroad, Orford Music would like to inform you of its policy regarding the summer session of its Academy:

• No refund if the cancellation is the sole initiative of the candidate.
• All fees (except the application fee) will be refunded if border authorities deny the candidate access to Canada, thus preventing him or her from participating in the 2020 session, upon presentation of official documents to this effect.
• All fees (except the application fee) will be refunded if the 2020 Academy is canceled.
• No refund, but the deferment of the 2020 session to 2021, upon presentation of official medical evidence (deemed satisfactory by Orford Music) that the candidate or a member of his or her household is infected by the COVID-19 virus and that this situation prevents him or her from taking part in the Academy.

This guideline and other advice to students will be re-evaluated based on the assessment of the international epidemiological situation and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

In the meantime, we encourage you to exercise caution by following the general preventive measures recommended.
